I made a reservation for my husband and I and also invited my Father in Law, my Brother and Sister in Law to join us for Lunch on Wednesday, Dec 17th. We arrived at 11:30 and the waitress came over right away, greeted us and took our beverage order, delivered those and took our lunch orders. From the time we ordered until.we received our lunches, we waited for over an hour. The waitress keep apologizing to us. Finally, our food arrived. Sadly, my Father in Law's fish sandwich was overcooked and my Brother in Law's Philly Steak and Cheese Stromboli was undercooked on the bottom and very dark on the top. My Eggplant and the 2 Italian Hoagies were delicious. Needless to say, I was disappointed with our experience and embarrassed that I was the one who encouraged us to eat there. It was not mentioned but I got the distinct feeling there was a staff shortage in the kitchen because there wasn't many people in the dining room. As I said at the beginning of my review, I had never heard anything negative about your place. As a former waitress, I feel our experience needed to be brought to the owner's attention.

Now, it's a piece of tough provolone baked in a nasty red sauce with little pieces of garlic toast. I could barely cut thru the cheese! Had I have known this, I never would have ordered it. We called to inquire and the girl we spoke with said "we don't go out of our way to let people know when things change". Exact words! WOW!!! I could not get through one bite of the Chicago deep dish. My 80 year old father and I (54) both agreed it was the worst pizza we had EVER had! Sorry to see this place has become so bad 😞
