They detain you, make you wait while they inefficiently watch the video, don't care if you were in a schedule (which is, of course, the whole reason you were using the self checkout because you couldn't wait in the one line they have a real cashier on). But don't worry, they're saving money on cashiers so they can have more loss prevention people on staff. And once you're done being interrogated and presumed guilty, they don't even apologize for the time they wasted or the fact that they just accuses an innocent customer of being a thief. That sounds like fantastic customer focus.
