Well before giving all one stars (except 3 for atmosphere even though my hub picked the food up), I did “do unto others as you would want done to you” and called this location to express concerns, to no avail. Let me run you through the phone call just now Me-“Hi! Is there a manager I can speak to by any chance?” Primo- “how can I help you?” Me-“ hi my name is Dana, my husband was just in there picking up a couple sandwiches…. I have nothing to get out of this call, I’d just to hate to see a good thing go bad…. Especially since Marrinuchis is taking over the area. We always used to order from Primos all the time , cater from you guys etc, and it’s been a while. We followed Marinucchi’s too. But we thought tonight, “Ya know what it has been a while, and they have the best flavor options… let’s go back to them tonight!”. My Audiablo (primo sized) was split with my hub. My half of the piece was only half filled with meat. And that meat was barely existent. I had to make decision to either spread out the veggies to the empty half or rip off half the roll. The side that had everything on it was only half way up towards the top of the roll. (My hub’s side was only halfway up towards top of all ingredients also). My daughters split a meatball primo sized. There 2 meatballs on each half of the primo, leaving was one full blank space for a meatball (aka a total of prob 3 inches total of the primo and with no ingredients/meat). I said even the picture in order email shows meat to the end which is 3 meatballs (I hesitated even mentioning the picture because sometimes advertisements look completely diff and my focus was on the reality of almost half of both sandwiches empty and simply roll) . Primo: well the picture is misleading I guess because the primo size is supposed to only have 4 meatballs… (then went on to explain other sizes and their meatball count. I thought in that moment ‘I guess I couldn’t argue that if that’s their policy , despite this being the first time meatball Sammy was ordered…. Now we know. But let’s see what he says next about the Diablo before I count these guys out for being what they once were)…. Primo continued: “tell ya what…. Maybe next time you come in , I’ll give you a 10% off the order”. Me: ::thinks lol like that’s less than 2 bucks off the sandwich I only had half meat on.. I guess they aren’t hurting for business that bad and don’t care about local places being the new fav hoagie spot::: . I respond “ok….” Primo : “ok….?” I thought that was worth typing out. If I see the lease space empty in the future , which I hate seeing whenever it happens, I’ll know I did what I could to help in my own small way, as I first stated in my phone call. I see other comments had same experience with seemingly concern in follow ups, which is why I decided to call first rather than just go straight to review. But…. I guess Marinucchis from now on it is (unless sea isle location… they’re still good and packed with meat. Might just be a location thing ) . Wish I took a photo. Ah well. Moving on…

  Delicious roast beef hoagie. Excellent customer service, I was sick so they brought my food to my car curbside! Thank you!

  Not going to lie, I was a little disappointed with the product. I remember when Primo first opened in the area. The sandwiches had a decent amount of meat on them, so I didn't mind paying a little more. Now, I much rather go to the little Italian shop for an authentic Italian hoagie, even though it's a little further.
