Managers don’t want to do their work and the Caucasian guy that works at the seafood department is very rude so is the lady manager that always wears the pulled back grey streaked ponytail. I’m still Trying to contact and corporate person about this matter. If the seafood section closes at 9 why am I being refused and told no At 8:40-8:45!! Unacceptable

Tha Acme in Bala Cynwood is a decent grocery store. It is stocked with numerous products. It is a little more expensive than ShopRite or Walmart and Giants. However, they do offer good sales on a lot of products. I can usually find the products I am looking for. Overall shopping at Acme is fine.

This is another bad experience that would have been horrible if not for the self checkout lady, Kiki stepping up and helping out. I got to acme at 750 AM got most of the things I needed to get. Walked over to the seafood counter at like 802 AM. The area was dark so I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be open. I saw an employee walking past so I asked them what time they opened and he said he believed at 8. I looked around and no one was there. I just wanted to get a lb of shrimp. I went to self checkout and asked Kiki what time the seafood opened and she said 8 and told me to go to customer service and they could page someone. I went to customer service and the lady pulled out a binder to check who was supposed to be there. She said someone should be back there and she paged someone. I walked back over there but the area was still dark. I waited a few minutes then another employee walked past and asked if I was being helped. She looked around but saw no one so she called to customer service and then came to me and apologized and mentioned that the manager was supposed to be covering seafood and was supposed to be at work at 730 am but wasn't there and hadn't called. WOW. Now I'm irked! How is the manager now at work and no one is covering seafood. If that was a regular employee, would it be tolerated? So i was just going to leave without the shrimp but this is where kiki came in to save the day. While at self checkout, I mentioned to her about the shrimp and she mentioned that she just saw the meat supervisor and that he could possibly help me. She told me to give her a minute and she walked to the back. I waited and she cant l came back with the shrimp! Thank you to Kiki and the meat manager as they went above and beyond to try to save the customer experience despite the manager.
