I hate that they have an app now, and you have to use the app to get the sale prices. No one wants another app on their phone just to grocery shop, and so you can glean our data. Just stop. I've been going to this store since it was in Kennett, and some of the same people are there. Store is usually clean and well stocked. But prices are high, and again, the stupid app. Listen to your customers, not what some marketing analyst tells you to do. I know people who have stopped shopping there over it.

Went here before a big winter storm that is approaching in SE PA. I was previously a fan of this Acme for their selection, and would drive 25 miles out of my way to go here. Tonight: they don’t seem to have baskets any longer. Too bad, I needed about $100 worth of small items. NO SALE. I am done driving out of my way to go here

Because I am so close, this is my go to store, but after years of finding out of date meat, out of date dairy, and the produce section is absolutely awful, I absolutely must find a new store. When I say out of date dairy, it is not just one item it is yogurts, milk, cottage cheese, etc. The young kids who are working there, literally standing around on their cell phones when they could be checking dates. Take the lead from other grocery stores, if they don't have anybody in there, cashier line, have your associates stand and bring people in from the end of their line. This is what other stores do and it is very nice to see. The manager of this store definitely needs to be replaced and should've been replaced several years ago. Back me takes three days to replenish what was wiped out on the weekends. Every week I go to customer service and tell them an entire section is out of date, and when I say out of date, it is by weeks, not days. You need to check every single date on every product you pick up. When I told customer service that I absolutely hate this store, the customer service rep responded "I do too!" How's that for your employees? If you want to know who it was, go to Sunday afternoon customer service

Went out of my way to buy mountain dew special sale. Had already visited Thorndale Amce who also had same problem. Out of original mountain dew that was on sale. Very disappointed saled ended missing out on savings. And only soda deal in town that week and next week to come. And missed out on 3.49 must buy 2 deal equaling a 12 pack. Now must find a deal somewhere but looks like Walmart though not a deal and almost 2 dollars more at their regular price for 12. Lots of other mountain dew flavors but not original so sad. Not to have a big stock of items on sale. Should never have none. They had 1 which wasn't quite enough to make it 2. Looked throughout the store... Nope only 1. Went home without.
