I had to ask four staff members where the coconut 🥥 water is located. I gave up and was able to locate it myself. Nowhere near were I was directed to look. I heard a manager walking by telling the staff members that corporate is coming and to not be on their phones and make sure they are smiling and saying hi to their customers! My question is why isn’t this a daily practice? Is Martins paying you to socialize and tweet? Or are you there to help service the customers? With the tone of the conversation I would say it’s not the norm and they act on their “best behavior” when they know someone will be watching and criticizing their actions. Management should be ashamed of themselves for this action. Instead lead by example, hold people accountable and when it’s warranted praise them in public. But this just for the next two hours pretend to be a good employee is the very reason people are turning to online shopping or curb side pickups! People are tired of the two faced lack of care people are getting paid to do. Not to mention the “fresh” fruits and vegetables is something to laugh at! Martins you need to do better.
