  The Woodburn, OR Subway location (Lawson Avenue) staff needs some retraining. We walked in mid-afternoon and it was empty. The very young staff were not friendly and seemed bored. The tables and floor in the main part of the restaurant needed to be cleaned badly. We sat in the glass walled side section which was clean. The bathrooms were in rough shape, and the women’s toilet was absolutely filthy and there was hairs on the sink and a full trash can. We told the staff that both bathrooms needed to be cleaned and they seemed unconcerned. We had a coupon to use and it seemed to be a big inconvenience. They charged me $2.79 each for two cups of water which I said I wasn’t paying for. She said they were out of courtesy cups for water. They weren’t. We called in while waiting and they miraculously found the cups and gave us two. The sandwich tasted fine. No napkins or receipt was given. The whole experience was unpleasant and could have been avoided with some additional training and the employees caring at all. Grade D minus.
