  My wife and I usually order delivery while we work from home or are in meetings, and recently deliveries have taken longer and longer. Failing to meet the previous "Freaky Fast" delivery promise, most often caused by using third-party delivery such as Uber. If you're in the delivery area, don't order delivery, pick it up yourself and save the 30-40 minute wait for 5 minutes or less of travel.

  I love jimmy John’s. Their food is great service is great. However today I ordered and it looks like they changed their delivery and now outsources to Uber. My order took over an hour due to the uber driver having multiple stops and taking 30 min to pick up my order. I hope Jimmy John’s switches back to their own drivers.

  I know this will be an unpopular opinion, and JJ's isn't bad by any means, but all things considered, the value just isn't there compared to Subway. For a similar price you get an 8" sandwich instead of 12", with a similar amount of maybe slightly higher quality meat and veggies, but not enough to justify the decrease in size. Subway's bread may not be as natural and yet somehow I prefer both it's taste and texture. I will say though, the service was great and I very much appreciated how JJ's labeled each sandwich with a name so we knew who each sandwich belonged to without having to open them up first.
