I am currently standing in line for customer service. I’ve been standing here for 10 minutes now and they’re radioing the manager Cameron who’s in the back unloading the frozen delivery Truck. He is radioing back that could be another 10 minutes+ before he can come to the desk. Update… It’s been another 10 minutes and I’m still standing here😩😤

7 PM on a Tuesday, with no registers open and only self-serve available. The line is backed up all the way to produce - insane!!!

BUYER BEWARE of the 'so called' gallon jug of water SCAM!!! My 3 star rating, as opposed to 1, is because the employees at the Wilsonville Safeway are consistently friendly and helpful. On my most recent visit a couple of days ago, I was going to purchase 2 gallons of drinking water - specifically their store brand of Signature Refreshe. I don't typically buy it at Safeway, as it's a whopping $1.59!!! But, I was going to suck it up. That is, until I saw that the containers were only partially filled! To be clear, with bottled water it's not entirely uncommon for there to be a tiny 1/4" gap just below the lid. This was NOT the case here! Every single one was empty by 3" at the top. They appeared to be roughly 8 oz short of a gallon. I placed them into my cart, feeling certain that Management would see that a slight discount was in order for the shortage. However, the Supervisor on duty informed me that they're now packaged that way. Suffice it to say, I didn't purchase them. My reason for taking the time to write this review is, many people now opt for online shopping and what a disappointing surprise. This is either deliberate on the corporate side, or management feels it's acceptable to place defective merchandise onto the shelves. This isn't cereal, where diminished amounts are placed into huge boxes, tricking the consumer who doesn't read the ounces on the label. It's a gallon of water! And a gallon should be a gallon. Period. I filed a scam complaint with the Oregon DOJ, so hopefully it will be properly investigated. Water is a necessity, not a luxury.

I was instructed to move out of the (empty) open line that was illuminated as being open. Into one which had not been, but now was lit, and had someone halfway-checked out in progress. After picking up my items off the belt to move and watching someone else enter, use, an exit the line I had been told to leave, and then after the person in front of me left, my items began being scanned. I was charged twice for the item I had specifically requested the coupon to be properly scanned on, and the price listed on my receipt still was higher for (1 quantity) than was advertised on the discount sticker on the product, which is the same problem I had for my other item as well. When I returned from the parking lot after realizing this all. There appears to be no customer service desk available. So I got back in the only line, behind someone already in their transaction and another completely full cart. To get my refund. Because I’m too disabled and exhausted for this, honestly. I’m not mad at an individual or employee. I’m confused and impoverished and so sick of these systems and the cereal I wanted to buy didn’t even have a price tag so I didn’t pick it up but what difference does it make the prices and the sales are all made up and the best deals are only available if you can afford the biggest phones and trucks and houses and don’t care about protecting your privacy, time, data…. It’s all a scam. How did we go and make groceries a scam???? I don’t have space for this.
