I welcome her right to believe and worship as she likes, but proselytizing to unsuspecting customers seems a bit much. Is this within company policy? Then, the endless phone tree and 20+ minute wait on hold to try (unsuccessfully) to speak with a store manager was the cherry on top. Maybe the usually long lines for self checkout aren't as bad as I think they are. I choose this store for convenience based on location, but will likely drive a bit further for a better customer experience. P.S. Safeway (Owner) - Please edit your canned social media responses so that they read correctly and make some sort of sense. I can see how much you care...
- SKSherri KleenMar 28, 20265.0I love this store especially because it's always very clean, they keep up on making the cosmetics of the store looking modern yet comfortable. And every staff member I have ever dealt with has been genuinely caring and helpful. It's a "floating" grocery store as my grandson calls it, but they have an elevator, stairs or escalator so there's plenty of options whether you're disabled or not. Also the parking is ample with plenty of spots, even not marked disabled, are just as close to the doors.

They not only forgot to personalize the cake with the intended recipient's name, they don't know how to draw a road and they made it a vanilla instead of the clearly written chocolate cake instructions. I love cake, but this cake was clearly not worth another piece. Then to make matters worse, when I called Katy (mgr), she never apologized for their clear mistake and was rude over the phone. Next time I'll go somewhere else. I don't recommend a cake from Safeway, ever.
