However the app is a bit slow on making sure that what you want is actually available instead of when you’re done and checked out and the person shopping for my order tells me about out of stock items from my list! I am also happy about the chat feature while order is being shopped for.

I have had more struggles shopping at Safeway than not.. they always have only one check out open and one checker .. and the line is always half way down the Ile to the back of the store.. its just absolutely crazy to me that they dont have more than one check out open and dont even have someone helping the checker bag the groceries.. and then there is the self check out which I a great idea but the way it has been set up you can only self check if you have less than 15 items . And well I dont mind check my own groceries and bagging my self i actually prefer to but i rarely get less than 15 things and i do not like to wait in line at all especially when the line is so long and there is only one checker and no courtesy clerk to help bagging for them .. the store was very clean amd fresh though amd thats a big plus .. for sure . Safeways prices are always pretty high but most places are even Walmart is anymore..

- FEFloyd EOct 29, 20255.0On the road today again. Stopped off at the local Safeway in Sweet Home. I will usually go to the deli to get something "hot" to eat. The reader board was down at the deli. The staff were still great and patient with the customers telling them the deals. Hats off to the staff today. Hopefully they get the board fixed so the staff can get back to their jobs. I do still like the Safeway app deals too. But the five stars are for the deli staff.
