When I expressed upset with this, both the cashier Joseph M and the manager rolled their eyes. They told me to “move on” when I expressed my feelings about the employees, AND MANAGER, using ableist slurs in front of and to customers. Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting behavior. They all doubled down on the fact multiple times and told me to move on and that they had all worked long shifts. I have just gotten off a long shift at my own job, I don’t say ableist slurs in front of customers. I think that if your managerial team thinks it’s acceptable to not only say ableist slurs in front of customers but to double down and roll her eyes about it, she doesn’t need to be in a managers position.
