- GLGreg LauApr 5, 20261.0Walked in to buy some food for a busy work day, was told that I could not purchase anything before 9am with cash. Had to leave empty handed. Noone could take my money, noone at the checkouts , noone at the service desk, only the self checkout attendant who could not leave her post. Not her fault. Just bad scheduling. So if you have cash to spend you cant use it until after 9am. Noted

While it used to be a reliable local spot, the experience for in-store shoppers has significantly declined. Store Layout & Navigation: The congestion near the deli is a major issue; there is simply not enough room for customers to wait for service while others try to pass through. Additionally, the aisles are constantly blocked by large pickup-order carts. It often feels like those of us shopping in person are treated as "second-class customers" while employees prioritize fulfillment orders over the people physically in the store. Customer Service: Most of the staff come across as unfriendly or indifferent, which makes the shopping experience even less pleasant. Pricing: The cost of groceries here has become unsustainable. Even as prices have stabilized elsewhere, this location feels completely out of touch with the local community. A basket of essentials that cost $20 just a few years ago is now closer to $60. Silverton deserves a grocery store that values its local foot traffic and offers fair, competitive pricing. Until things change, it’s hard to justify shopping here.
