  Been a few years since our last visit and this is still the wonderful little gem we remembered. Located in the Hunters Ridge Business Center off of SW Roy Rogers Rd in Sherwood, this spot blends both Creole and European influenced entrees with a open inviting dining space and wonderful service. When it works, it works well! We really looking forward to coming back more often this year. And, as always, don’t forget to support local and small businesses in your area!   We have ordered takeout several times at Trees and it was always great but a week ago we ordered and it wasn't so great. I did let them know when they emailed me about how they did but there was no response. We were having a birthday dinner. We ordered salmon which people in my family said not nearly as good as it used to be, and one person had Tangipahoa Salad which he said was good (yay) but the really miss was the gumbo. My son was very disappointed with his food, saying it watery and not much flavor. Also for the amount of money I spent, the portions were teensy and the boxes the food came in were very flimsy. Just overall not a good experience and we don't plan on going back. (I made my son gumbo a few nights later and it was MUCH better than this by the way.)

  Checked their website daily for a week, as I planned a special day and a special dinner for my husband's 60th birthday on Monday, October 20th. Their website said they were open 7 days a week, specifically Monday from 12 noon to 7 PM. We arrived at 4 PM, and there was a sign on their door saying they were closed on Mondays! Update your website! We traveled to Sherwood specifically to have a special dinner and your establishment was closed, even though your website says you're open! Can't imagine what the food and service is like if you can't even get your hours of operation correct.

  OMG! Absolutely fabulous restaurant and great food. Our server, Amber was wonderful in her recommendations for a special birthday lunch. The shrimp & grits are out of the world! Delicious is an understatement, a must have! The French dip was tender and cooked just right! But a must have is the chocolate mint cake! This cake was divinely marvelous and so yummy! Highly recommend this quaint restaurant and kudos to the chef and our fabulous server, Amber! Can’t wait to go back!
