  my family and i went thru for hot chocolate as we all know it’s the best. sadly, we had a very disappointing experience at this particular dutch bros. the barista was rude to my husband from the beginning and stated”you’re all over the place, just pick one” as he was trying to pay with his app and it wasn’t working so he paid w tap instead. we got passed that ordered our cocoa and when she came back to hand it to us, we got two in the car and the third one’s lid was not on properly and it exploded all over me and the entire front seat. it burned both my arm and leg and ruined my sweater. my husband asked her to grab it back and she refused then basically threw a bunch of paper towels at us. my husband asked her to remake the drink. she said her manger was behind us so we pulled forward. the two of them proceeded to ridicule and laugh at us as we were trying to clean up the mess. they never brought out the other drink. i had to walk over and ask for it from the other barista as the one who served us was still too busy yapping and laughing with her boss in the other window. i asked for her name and the co-worker refused to give it to me. she made the hot cocoa(wrong as we needed oat milk, made with whole) and we left. it was one thing to have the cocoa spill everywhere, what i did not appreciate was the treatment we got after. no apologies, not a concern that the hot beverage burned my skin, nothing except ridicule from her and the woman who was supposedly her manager in the car behind us. i was appalled and humiliated on top of being burned. all we wanted was a hot chocolate that we love. i will never understand someone who has zero regard or empathy and this barista was that. it’s unfortunate because typically, DB has the best service.

  The two girls that were working there talked to me about Canada. They were amazing. I am so glad I went there. Thank you girls for that amazing drink!

  this is probably the most unfriendly dutch bros i’ve been to shoutout astoria dutch bros for having good vibes and a solid team. every time ive been to seaside dutch ive gotten a vibe similar to as if i shot their first born. im always friendly. asking questions abt the menu should not result in a death stare. asked how the girls day was going no answer straight to the drinks. the first time i went to seaside dutch specifically i brushed it off as maybe the barista was having a bad day. unfortunately ive kinda gotten the vibe that every day is a bad day for every barista that works there maybe it’s a management problem maybe not

  Dutch Bros. staff are known for being friendly, so when I say this location has the kindest team… that’s saying something! The drinks are great, the service leaves me feeling happy, and the pup cups have a 100% approval rate from my dogs. Can’t wait to be back!
