  Stopped by on my way back home 4/10/2026 around 1:20pm to get a drink for my drive home! This is the first time ever I have ever dealt with horrible customer service in my many years for drinking Dutch bros. The gentleman took my order and not only did he repeat it back to me incorrectly (order was blended toasted mellow freeze with strawberry soft top parfait style) he then proceeded to repeat it back the way I wanted it. I then proceeded to wait for 15 minutes while my drink was prepared I was asked once by a lady what my order was as she wasn’t sure. I then continued to wait. In my time awaiting my drink I watched as the gentleman who took my order along with the female who asked me what my order was were at the other drive through window helping a customer who seemed to be having issues herself with the employees. This lady ended up driving away and once she left the gentleman proceeded to complain about this customer in front of other customers myself and the new customer who pulled up. It took the female employee shutting down the male employee to stop the conversation. I then finally got my drink from the nice employee who seemed to be the only one making drinks between the 4 of them. Unfortunately my drink was wrong and we much as I didn’t want to ask it to be remade I had a 5 hr drive back home and after seeing all the chaos amongst the employees and their customers I requested politely to have it re made the way I ordered it, I will say she seemed confused though cause it was still shown as strawberry soft top and not strawberry soft top parfait style even though I corrected the gentleman and he seemed to of fixed it. My hope in making this post is that these employees can see the errors in their ways not the mistake in my drink (mistakes happen) but the listening to their customers to make sure even though this is a stressful job and that yes customers can be difficult to know when and where it’s appropriate to vent about their frustrations.   Watch out wait times here are a nightmare. Four Friends of one of the Brista show up blocking one of the drive through windows just chatting, while ten cars are waiting this went on for 10 to 15 minutes, I called to complain and they don't answer their phone line, maybe the music too loud or they lost their hearing due the loud music. I am surprised a previous employee hasn't sued over hearing loss. After dealing with this twice I stop coming here.

  When we go to my doctor in Seasie Oregon, we love to go to the Dutch Bros coffee shop. The staff are very friendly and have so much energy. It lifts our spirits. BUT the last time we went there (3-23-26) we were greeted the same fun living way. The staff was great, the issue we had was, there was a very strong smell, not a nice smell!! It was gross, it smelled like an outhouse. It made me want to cancel order, and leave ASAP. We ended up staying to get our drinks, but will not go back until the issue is addressed. I can't imagine working there, having to smell that would make me sick. I hope it will be addressed ASAP. Thank you! Or FYI the Astoria Store has the same upbeat staff. We go there at times as well. I LOVE the hot chocolate, with the whip cream. Since I've never had a cup of coffee in my 65 years, the hot chocolate is my drink!!! All Dutch Bros are great!!! We just like our local shops the best!!
