Yet, 50 yards away, in the produce section, there is a mountain of onions and piles of lettuce. When pointing out this fact to the person behind the counter, I'm told "it's against store policy to take items from the produce section". To me, the issue here is not that the deli is out of the requested items. The issue is that their system is apparently so broken that they can't even get an onion and lettuce from their own inventory to satisfy a simple, basic customer request. Completely typical of what is wrong with just about any large, corporate entity. Pathetic.
