I grew up with Indian food. When the owner regularly worked at the food cart and there was a friendly woman running the front, it was the best Indian food I've had over 30+ years. I drive 2 hours round trip and it used to be worth it because the owner has a gift! He used to have a restaurant in Lincoln City.
But the guy working there tonight is horrible. As others mentioned the attitude is like you're disturbing him. I don't know if it's a language barrier or an attitude but he seemed like he didn't care and the food reflected that. The Yard wasn't even busy. There were like 8 customers there; it was dead.
I asked for spicy, eagerly and with a smile. I didn't hesitate like "oh, lemme see maybe spicy?". What I got was at best a medium. It seems other people that are not Indian have had the same problem in the comments; not getting spicy.
It now lacks the flavor that it had when the owner was there. Some of you complained about "grease" in the food, but that was the FLAVOR. You cook the spices in the oil to release their oils into the cooking oil. Tonight there was barely any oil on top. In the past the whole top was covered in a layer of spiced oil, not grease. You just need to STIR it and then it was amazing.
I got the "add veggies" option I saw listed on their website and I didn't realize that this meant I'd get the same size container with less chicken to make room for the vege. The veggies were frozen; he had to shake the bag around trying to loosen them up pretty loudly. Since they're frozen they were soft and flavorless. I don't like carrots but these were just soft nothings so it was no problem for me.
The samosas used to have small pieces of potato that were about the same size. This time they had huge whole pieces of potato. Giant pieces makes it taste like plain potato because you get a mouthful of boiled potato. Used to have peas, didn't see single one. Even the spices in the samosa seemed to be lacking.
I don't know if they moved the good people to the brick and mortar they opened downtown or what but I can say I won't be driving 2 hours to pay $25 + $5 tip to get indian food worthy of a mall. $30 plus gas for tikka masala and samosas (I asked for no rice) that were just mediocre. Maybe if you have some beers first it'll taste better. I am so dang disappointed. There's no reason to drive 2 hours when I have Indian food 5 minutes from my home.

I recently visited this restaurant and was really impressed! The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything—from the presentation to the taste—showed real attention to detail. Definitely a great spot for anyone who enjoys good food and great service. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Excellent Indian food. I had the Stuffed Potato Naan and the Spicy Veggie Biryan and both were delicious. C

The reason I give this rating is both for the food and the customer service. The guy who served me was very rude and very unhygienic when he saw that I was making my food and rubbing the sweat on his forehead and how he kept putting his hands back in the food was disgusting and repugnant. His gloves were all dirty as if he hadn't changed them in days and the trailer was very dirty inside. The food doesn't taste bad but when you see how they prepare it, the utensils and the place are super dirty and disgusting. I would never recommend eating here.
