Time after time I go ito this store and most of the staff is shopping for pick up orders while in store shoppers are expected to self check, or wait in crazy long check out lines. Seems like the priority should be the in store shopper. Very frustrating.

Aggressively right wing management here trying to make in your face political messages by going it of their way to hand massive American flags from the ceilings mid Christmas? I’ve never seen this at any other Safeway location ever outside of maybe 4th of July?

It's a good grocer for st. Helens. Definitely good produce dept. Big meat dept. For things like sundry goods, the price is high, but there is another big store close by where you can pick up all your toiletries, household goods, clothing, pet supplies, etc.. sometimes the checkout line is crowded but the service is fast and courteous. I shop @ Safeway, st. Helens weekly.
