  Who's idea was it to give only paper bags in Oregon that you have to pay for, even dollar general has the option for plastic bags

  I come here often and the stars are really only for the deli. The food is always on point and fresh. Never had any issues with it. My main gripe is the following- lets not kid ourselves. Roseburg is majority of O L D people. Knowing this, why are there always almost no lanes open with cashiers and only the self checkout section, where there are only several registers and the older people are forced to use these and build up a line cause they don't know what they're doing and taking too long. Open the actual register lanes and get people scanning things. The times I've just gone to the deli and unable to pay at the deli so I have to go to self checkout and end up waiting 15+ minutes just to check out. This process just needs to be better.

  First issue is that the prices are a bit high.And the items they have on sale are usually right on the verge of expiration, second issue is every time I go through the self. Checkout, there is one woman worker who makes rude comments. If you don't know what you're doing, that's happened twice to me now. With the same woman and leaving the store not 5 minutes ago, very dark outside, not seeing her in all dark clothing. This same woman I apparently offended her. Because I did not see her walking directly behind my vehicle. And boy, did she throw me the dirtiest look, and you know, I don't need this kind of treatment. I spend ever bit of $200 a month in this store and I have been coming too Safeway since 1972. So I'm really sorry that you're going downhill say Safeway, And you're losing business. But maybe you should look at these issues. You know the almost expired products being sold that are right there on the verge and certain workers that can be very difficult. And trust me, once you start getting treated like this, it doesn't make a person want to come back really does not feel very inviting. You know what I mean. So whatever God bless you guys. Yeah, I came in for about $40 worth of groceries, and this could very well be the last time. Because if I get that kind of treatment, one more time from this same lady, i'm gonna press charges against your store.Now i'm not joking, there's no need for that.She's at work, and I did not see this woman walking behind my car in the dark, and then to glare, like that at me, really, I mean shame shame.. If looks could kill, she would have stabbed me right near eye. That's ridiculous. She is at work. Please repriman this woman.She might be doing her job.But let me tell you her customer service skills fail.. I give you 2 stars, and that's really sad. Because you're about the oldest grocery store in Roseburg, how do I know that I was born? And raised here, 1968.
