- CACallie AzeltineMar 16, 20262.0I really enjoy shopping here, but checkout is consistently frustrating. The store never seems to have enough staff at the registers. On Friday when I came in, there were only two cashiers and the lines were really long. Since I only had a few items, I decided to use self-checkout to move things along. I waited in line, scanned all my items, and only at the very end did I find out the machine wouldn’t accept cash. There was no sign or notice on the machine letting customers know it was card-only. When people are already waiting in long lines, it would really help if the self-checkout machines clearly indicated whether they accept cash or card before we start the transaction. A simple sign on top of the machine would allow customers paying with cash to let the next person go instead of going through the entire process and then finding out they can’t pay. I like the store and enjoy shopping here, but better staffing at checkout or clearer signage on the self-checkout machines would make a big difference for customers.

The gentleman that helped me was incredibly rude- being out put that he had to help me check out bc I didn’t see the sign. I was really uncomfortable. I don’t think he had very good consumer service and should not be in the position he’s in. I should not be shamed for checking out my groceries.

My experience has ALWAYS been good with the cashier's. They are always friendly. I also LOVE how they hire people with special needs. There is this younger gal that will help people in need take their groceries to their car, I don't remember her name, but she always has something that is Minnie Mouse themed on. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE her energy and her friendliness! She is a WONDERFUL asset to that this Redmond location.
