  Have the sole with beurre blanc. It might change your life. Pick. A local Willamette Valley Pinot Gris. Yes, try a Pinot Gris. You will say, wow! Glad I read that review. Extended bar with many standout Whiskeys.

  Completely blown away. Food incredible. Prime rib cooked perfectly to our request. Asparagus was grilled, thick and a ton of flavor. Burger….stunning and the house steak sauce blew me away and I’m usually dubious about sauces. Most importantly Cyrano and Daisha made our time/experience at Jake’s Grill memorable and enjoyable. Attentive, kind, authentic and amazing at would they do. From the moment I made the reservation with Cyrano to the end of our dining experience/dessert with Daisha…..speechless and obsessed with the food, service & team members. Daisha and Cyrano are two of the very best humans in the food industry/Northwest. Thank you so much! Lauren and Dana from Seattle but originally from New Jersey. 💜♥️💙

  My husband and I came here for his birthday yesterday and it was absolutely wonderful! Erica was our server in the bar area and she made sure that our experience was very special🥰 We will definitely be going back! The food and drink's were amazing😊 Erica's service though was what really made our time there so great. So, thank you so much Erica and we hope to see you the next time that we come in!!!

  Came in for happy hour and ordered the New York steak and a couple of drinks. My server Tucker was incredible! Great service, awesome personality and this dude has an incredible work ethic. The steak came prepared perfectly with a delicious garlic, rosemary butter melting right on the top. I love steak and will definitely be back again!

  I have been all over Portland, and this trip I had my first and second visits to Jake's. I am terrible with names, I looked at my ticket before I left and said his name 5 times but it is gone. The bartender is probably the hardest working bartender in Portland. He never stopped. I always had a drink, I had food timely, I had dumb questions answered. All while he quarterbacked what seemed to be the entire expanded bar area. I love working with folks who anticipate the flow of the day, it makes my OCD heart happy. And it somehow comes out in the food and drinks. The separation is in the preparation.
