We love Huber's! Everything there is A+. The food, the waitstaff, the drinks... Their selection of drinks is expansive and includes a section of classic cocktails. The atmosphere can be very loud, even when the cafe is half-full.. It looks nice inside, with an original pre-prohibition setting, and the staff are amazing. A little bit of sound-dampening equipment could go a long way in here. It's a great place for dinner and conversation.

Unfortunately, we didn’t go to Huber’s on a good night. Drinks and appetizers came out quickly, but then we waited for over an hour to get our main courses. They said the kitchen was “backed up.” The waitress was very kind and apologetic and we could tell she felt bad. The food was really good when it came out though, and very fresh and hot. They also gave us desserts for free because we had to wait so long. I don’t think this was a normal experience for Huber’s.

The food was to die for! Service, fantastic. Atmosphere, lovely. The bar chairs in the historic bar looked uncomfortable but the booth in the dining room was perfect. When a couple of things were forgotten with our meal and drinks they immediately rectified it. The waitress was attentive and sweet but not hovering. The filet mignon was exquisite. HIGHLY recommend. A little pricey but well worth every penny.

Such an amazing out of the way restaurant but absolutely stunning inside with the best staff around. We had the Crab Ravioli and Montreal Gorgonzola Filet. With Creme Brulee and Tiramisu Limoncello. We were served some house made bread as a starter which was just scrumptious. I'm not normally a fan of bread but really love this one. Let's start wth the Filet as it was great we had ours medium rare and it almost melted in our mouths. Next was the Crab Ravioli. It was absolutely Delicious. Was so good I ordered some to go as well. We finished off with desert. As to which the creme brulee was creamy and decadent with splashes of vanilla. And then last but most certainly not least the Limoncello was simply heavenly. It was everything a Tiramisu should be but with a frothy layer of lemon on top and infused lemon taste in every bit. Not sure i will find another place that makes it this well again. I wish I hadn't finished ours so fast so that I could have posted photos of the food too.
