  Favorite spot on 23rd to visit when I'm back in town. Always end up buying a couple dozen bagels to freeze for later and love getting that pre meal jar of pickles before the Reuben comes out. Perfect 5/7.

  Meh. I’ve been in a bagel kick ever since trying another very highly rated bagel shop in the area and decided to try Henry’s today. Very disappointing mediocre bagel breakfast sandwhich. The bagel itself was not it at all. Nothing more mediocre than any bagel you could get at the store! The texture - and flavor - were both displeasing. I can’t believe all these great impressed reviews. Seriously. It didn’t hold a candle to the other one I tried last week. The shmear was also VERY bland and flavorless and there was barely any on my bagel!!!! I’ve never been given such a sad, miserable, pitiful amount of shmear on ANY other bagel in this lifetime. Probably not even in any past lifetime, either. I paid extra for cheddar cheese and there was barely any of that on there, either. The bagel sandwhich seriously needed an SOS of Salt. Luckily I Conceal Carry a small salt shaker everywhere with me so it did help. But the bagel sandwhich was still very subpar. Definitely just carton eggs too, not real ones. Will not be back. Again - really cannot believe people think these bagels are anything other than run of the mill mediocre/average.
