I had to stop shopping here for one reason only. All the employees who smoke, do so right outside the only exit door on Hawthorne making it unavoidable unless I want to go to the basement and walk through the lower parking garage and around back onto Hawthorne. If the store was concerned about, they wouldn’t allow it in the first place. But it’s been this way for the past year that I’ve been in the neighborhood. I’ll walk down to People’s Co-op instead.

Safeway has a bit of a problem with how much they charge. The digital coupons do not always go through, so you end up having to take your receipt back - I averaged about $12.00 per $100 spent, so Watch Those Receipts!!! It has excellent selection of very fresh food.

One of the cashiers here, (older dirty blonde hair), talked shit about me for wearing a face mask. Some of us are immunocompromised/have weak immune systems and cannot risk getting sick, so we do what we can to protect ourselves. You can be immunocompromised at any age and I would prefer if your cashier kept her bad opinions to herself. By the way, Covid-19 and the flu are still going around so I’m going to keep wearing a mask, and your employee just needs to get over it.

Do you only want half of what you paid for? Or how about all of your fruit molding and rotten?! Great then order from this Safeway for delivery! They will even blame the Door Dash people they sent to deliver it!! Fresh produce inside because they send the bad produce to their delivery customers.
