This Safeway was so organized and clean. They even have a special seasonal baking section up front with absolutely everything needed. Their pharmacy is well-staffed and efficient.

The rotisserie chicken is a joke. $9.99 inflation. I buy this rotisserie chicken all the time. Today I get this micro bird

I've visited this store twice since moving to the area. While the store is clean and we'll lit, my experience with the staff has been less than stellar. Mild annoyances: Some of the cashiers are extremely loud talkers-- like, across the store loud, and their chatter seems inappropriate for the work environment. On my first visit, I was overcharged almost $30 while the cashier was blasting away with another worker instead of paying attention to the task at hand. I tried pointing out the multiple issues during the checkout process, but the cashier dismissed me and told me I had to take it up at the service desk (which was not staffed). So after being pushed to overpay to avoid holding up the line, I had to wait until someone came to the service desk to resolve the problem. Note: It was a simple process to resolve, and the overcharge was refunded to my cc. Unfounded belligerance: On my second visit, after checking out (and running the loud cashier's gauntlet), I stopped at service desk to buy a money order. Employee was argumentative about how many money orders I could buy (I needed 2), and made up "federal law" assertions that are simply not true... then insisted he was "certified" to sell money orders by the government, and that he knew more than me about the process (without having any clue about my credentials on the subject). A 5 minute phone call to Safeway corporate makes clear that this guy has completely misinterpreted 'company policies,' and then decided to label his clear misunderstanding of those policies as 'law.' Really quite silly, actually. Competitor stores abound... Fred Meyer is just down the road.

This Safeway has a very small flower dept, basic and unimaginative . The meat dept does not have much in the way of organic meat. I'd give the rest of the store a decent review, workers are friendly, produce is ok, store is clean. Hate the location, going up the escalator to shop is super irritating.
