I saw this Safeway driving by at 5:58am. It says it opens at 6am. It’s not open. I been waiting it’s 6:04am. They finally opened it around 6:08am a lot people left already before hand …Long lines now. I hope I didn’t get sick waiting outside in the cold. 🥶

I tried calling the pharmacy over 10 times within an hour, and then called customer service another 10 times not a single call was answered. You would think that answering the phone is a basic part of the job. Because I needed my medication, I had no choice but to go in person. While standing in line, I heard the phone ringing several times with no employee bothering to pick it up. It really comes across as if answering telephones simply isn’t a priority or jsut basic customer service After going through all of this, an hour and a half later I was told my prescription wouldn’t be ready for another two hours. This entire situation could have been avoided if someone had simply answered the phone. Do better, Safeway.

This is my local Safeway, and as a newish resident to the area I have to say how consistently disappointed I am with this store. It is sorely understaffed; the staff that are there are visibly overworked and overwhelmed. However I would like to note that every employee at this store that I’ve encountered has been kind, helpful, and clearly works very hard. The aisles are much narrower than other Safeway stores I’ve been to over the years, and the layout is indeed confusing as mentioned in other reviews for this store. While I understand that anti-theft measures have been put in place at this location, I have been witness to many instances where customers are left confused and frustrated trying to navigate the ever-changing experiments with layout and other security measures that are put in place with very little to no explanation; most of which are not intuitive and make little sense. Over the years I have come to realize that I only shop at this location out of pure convenience. Not only because of the reasons I’ve detailed above, but also because of high prices - which given the context of my other complaints, hardly seem appropriate for a store in this particular location and especially for a store in the condition this one is in. When inflation prices were at their highest, this store represented some of the highest price increases I saw locally while offering nothing in the way of increased options for those on a budget. As a lifelong customer of Safeway stores, I can tell you that this one feels forgotten by the company as a whole; in fact my partner and I frequently refer to it as a ‘bottom rung’ branch that must exist simply to fill a geographical gap between ‘better’ branches. The parking lot is typically filthy, and feels generally unsafe as well. Would I recommend anyone to shop here? Not if they know of other options, I wouldn’t. Should anyone from Safeway Co. read this review, I would like to ask you: please give this store the same treatment that the rest of your stores get, because this one hardly feels like a Safeway at all and instead feels unsafe, uncared for, and inconvenient. And your customers feel it the most; I for one feel this every time I shop there which has become less and less frequent as a result.
