It’s OK I can pick up my medication there and everyone’s real friendly. It’s not too big of a Safeway.

This is my neighborhood Safeway and it seems to be going downhill. I went a few days ago and asked the Asian lady in the meat department if they had more beef short ribs in the back. She didn’t even look in my direction and said, “everything I have it out already.” Didn’t offer to check the back or anything. How is it Friday at 1pm and your meat is damn near empty, who is doing the ordering?!? I go back today, a Sunday, Same exact thing happens, asked a tall white guy, do you have any beef short ribs in the back? His response, “everything I have is out.” No offer to check or anything. Like hello, Im trying to spend money on your product. Went to Fred Meyer’s on Glisan, asked if there were any more beef short ribs in the back, the guy went to the back, asked his butcher, came back and said, “give him 5 mins.” Came back in 3 mins, smiled, game me the meat and said, “Thank you for coming in!” I went to Safeway twice and didn’t get this service not once, plus the new cashier at Safeway, black guy, is slow, seems high, and moves like a sloth! I used to really like this store and they do have some good people left, but apparently not much product.
