- DHDavid HNov 15, 20251.0Customer service desk closes whenever they feel like it. Not just at this location. If you need a money order, do not rely on Safeway to get one. They need to update their hours so customers know that the customer service desk closes at 3:00 PM on a Saturday. I will contact Western Union to inform them that this location’s hours on their website are incorrect.

I have a bad back and she literally ran over to help me pick up an item I had dropped and was struggling to pick it up. She offered to get someone to help me shop, but I declined. The store was clean, but does have a funky smell in places. The prices are Okay. Safeway has some good sales in the weekly ads. You do have to have their app and select the coupon which is a pain for some of the discounts. I would drop one star because app but their customer service through Cindy I like to give the 6 stars so I guess I keep it at 5 stars. It is a smaller store which is good for not having to walk so far but still have a great selection of items.

And before you come for them they were the outshine ones, which is a good option when your stomach hurts from hunger. Poor poeple deserve good food too. Its a 3$ box of Popsicles that was unusually cruel. Do you know how often I had seen poeple ask for a dollar or two while working for safeway and it was never a problem nor was I told to kick out a customer out over it, thats litterally a social norm. From what i understand thats not apart of their policy and she was just racist.

The customer service representative, Nora, said that I had to have a paper receipt. Product returns here typically go smoothly with only an electronic purchase record needed, but when I told Nora this, they rudely responded that it must be my first time in the store.
- MMMNov 9, 20251.0Constant shoplifting in the back corner by the bakery .If you go in the back where the service elevator is and the bakery area you can just watch all the kids stealing food putting it in their jackets all day long, there is never any security back in that corner.. it's almost an unwritten rule by Safeway that" yeahyou can go back there and steal whatever you want" a free economic zone in the store. I've been going in there every day for years and this is a ongoing perpetual issue that only the paying customer seems to care about
