Refuse to hire staff for checking out and it's a hangout for the less fortune fallowing you even sometimes in the store force you to have a recept first to use the bathroom even when shop there all the time one time I asked to use the bathroom they refused so I went ahead and did my shopping as intended and an employee fallowed me around the store the whole time one that had been standing there when I was told to purchase items before I could get the code to the bathroom honestly I wouldn't shop the if it wasn't the closest store to me

There was a lot of people in the store and I don't understand why my OTC card was not working today at Safeway because I was trying to buy cheese and milk and yogurt for me to eat on so now I have to call them to figure out what is going on with my card and why I can't buy anything from the store

Quirky annoyance in the middle of the store trying to walk to certain aisles. Otherwise, items priced like every other grocery store.
If you're looking for good generic brands with extreme cheap prices and you have access to an Amazon Prime account, I suggest checking Amazon Fresh and looking at the Amazon Saver and Amazon Grocery brands - Amazon takes EBT as well.

I had my entire backpack stolen from this location when they used to make everyone leave their backpack upfront. I had an uneasy feeling when I was setting it down, but thought what am I gonna put it in a different basket I’ll just hurry after I looked and saw multiple security guards and three cameras instantly I thought well everyone leaves their bags. I’m sure it’ll be fine. I was only shopping for 15 minutes. Come back and my backpack with everything I own in it is gone, the manager took 20 minutes to basically say nothing to me. A different employee said we don’t make you take your backpack here and not leave it at home which was very rude. There’s nothing that says leave it here at your own risk and now for a while now they don’t make people leave their backpacks upfront. I tried to file a police report multiple times, but you’re supposed to put what was stolen with serial numbers, and he only have half an hour to fill it out online which I’ve tried multiple times and not ever been able to do it fast enough with all the items that were in my backpack. It really screwed me over their items to this day. I have still not been able to replace. I’ll never forget that it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had couldn’t believe how much the store couldn’t of cared less oh, and they said only the police can look at the footage on the cameras. They did not care at All. They were in fact, rude to me for being upset about my backpack being stolen, even though I had everything I owned in it and anybody would be upset the least they could’ve done was say we are sorry that happened anything not be condescending and say that they don’t make us bring our backpacks there what if you don’t have anywhere else to leave your backpack, huh? And when you try to contact corporate, you can’t have an emailed conversation. Basically they will email you a phone number. They will only talk to you on the phone which doesn’t give you time to consult with an attorney or anything like that. I don’t like that at all.

Hhhmm.... this store tries SOOOOOOOOO hard & ITS NOT the employees fault AT ALL!! I intensely dislike going to this store now & really only go when I have to... I'm in a wheelchair and I'm constantly having to watch my back and all around me to make sure I'm safe. I had my phone stolen from my pocket while I was in line there. THANKS BE TO GOD!!! the thief actually dropped my phone off at customer service. I NEVER go in there alone anymore...
