I ordered the chicken and sausage jambalaya, and it was shockingly bland while somehow having an overpowering, unpleasant flavor I still can’t identify. The sausage was barely there, and the chicken was dry and tough. Just not good. My partner’s seafood gumbo was worse. an overwhelming fishy taste, and for $20, it came with three shrimp and even fewer clams and mussels. That’s not “seafood,” that’s decoration. Service didn’t help. I asked multiple times for salt and pepper and got ignored, even though the server was close enough to hear me clearly. That’s just neglectful. The salt and pepper calamari appetizer was mostly garnish with very little actual calamari. felt more like a plate filler than an appetizer. Overall, this was a waste of money and nowhere near the standard people claim this place has. I came in excited and left disappointed. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend it.

Flavors were on point with the spice level being a bit more than expect (heat/spicy wise), where they fall extremely short is the cleanliness of their restaurant, kitchen, and bathrooms.

The waitresses are amazing, wonderful and kind individuals that go out of their way to make sure your experience is meaningful. The food is always delicious, hot and fresh. I got a boil (garlic butter) , hush puppies, wings (jalapeno & chipotle)and a side bread. This meal hit every bone in my body, made me jiggle. The seafood was the stuff they talked about in the Bible. Definitely food that feeds our body and our soul.
