  Inconsistent. Sometimes slow, very much a mid McDonald's location. Recommend you visit a real restaurant in St Johns or just hit the taco bell down the street generally

  Let me start by saying I have never really had a good experience at any McDonald’s around the country, I’ve had some fair to average experiences, but not anything exemplary. I have traveled a lot for work and often McDonald’s is the only option I have available to me, so I’ve learned to just accept it for what it is, sustenance with not a lot of good service or culinary delight. Then I encountered this location, which is close to where I live, and imagine my surprise when I discovered that this McDonald’s operates like a Swiss clock, with absolute precision. I’ve made several visits at different times of day, I’ve never spent more than five minutes in the drive-thru. I’m using their app, and that probably helps, but everyone who works for the store that I’ve encountered has been friendly and helpful. I’ve never had an error in my orders, which is amazing to me, considering some of my past experiences that other locations. I’ve actually started tipping at the drive-thru which I would encourage, this kind of service absolutely deserves a reward.

  I genuinely don’t know how this guy still has a job here. Every time I see him working the drive-through line he is always holding up the line with his big mouth. He always has his phone out exchanging information with someone even after the customer has received all of their order, he still has them sitting there talking, and then he’ll eventually have them move up, but not out of the line, to where people can get around, but just a few feet up so the next person can at least get their order but then still have to sit in line behind someone because now he’s outside talking to them. I’ve seen it happen multiple times as a DoorDasher so this time I honked at the customer in front of me who is waiting for the McDonald’s worker to come out. They drive out to the parking lot so I can get through, I told the McDonald’s worker he needs to stop holding the line up. He responded with, “I could’ve had him stay there.” As in he could’ve had me wait longer when I’m literally delivering a milkshake to a DoorDash customer. Also, the person I honked at started following me, blared their horn at me at a red light, threw a water bottle at my car, then pulled up to my car and started screaming at me. All because I honked at him letting him know I’m behind him. The McDonald’s worker does not deserve to have this job, especially since he’s creating unsafe situations for other customers.
