The gentleman that took our order was friendly enough, as was the lady who was actually making them, but that's where any resemblance of customer service ended. When we went to the register to pay, the girl at that one was counting out change- for several minutes. We stood there, absolutely ZERO acknowledgement that we even existed. Not even as much as a "I'll be with you in just a second". She didn't even look up, just very deliberately ignored us. Once she got around to actually processing our order so we could pay, she still barely acknowledged our existence, but instead complained to her coworker about how tired she is and how she's just too tired to work (clearly that's the case, because what she was doing could not be mistaken for work). While I understand the challenge of getting competent staff these days, to put someone like this out as the public contact for your business is a terrible reflection. We certainly won't be back to this location. I know since we don't go to Einstein Bagels often, our lost business won't effect them, but if the lack of service will eventually spread to other customers. Oh- the bagel and cream cheese shmear were very good. Not good enough to overlook the terrible service however.

However the restaurant is absolutely filthy, and not just dirty tables from a busy morning, but dirt/dust everywhere and crumbs/dirt caked along the edge of the floors. Floors were sticky everywhere and no soap in the restroom. Not coming back due to lack of cleanliness, because if this is the condition of areas customers can see, who knows what the food prep area looks like
