- JOJohn O.Dec 29, 20252.0If you order online, you risk your portions coming out small. I haven't been to this Chipotle in a few years. And a few months ago I ordered online for a burrito. I brought it back to my office about a half mile away, opened the bag and was genuinely shocked that it was less than 5-inches long (4.8-inches to be more exact). Subway is a better deal at this point. I remember "complaining" how big the burritos used to be and used to comment it was one of the best deals around for what you got! As usual, I guess it's what happens when you put profit over longevity of the business, assuming that customers won't notice. Unfortunately for Chipotle we're not addicted to your food and demand for your products is not inelastic; you have plenty of competition. I go to the Fuego burrito food cart now. I've heard news about small portions at Chipotle, but I just thought it was entitled people whining about how they can't stuff their fat faces like they want to. I don't mind smaller portions, but the price should match it. Maybe Chipotle should offer a small and regular size burrito and charge less for the small one, like the one I got. Either way, I hate feeling ripped off.
