Instead of a greeting, the first thing I was told when I walked in was, "We are out of lettuce." This was immediately followed by being told they were "only taking mobile orders right now." What made this particularly frustrating was that there was no sign on the door stating they were only doing digital orders. Furthermore, the shop was not busy; there were no other customers waiting, the delivery tablet wasn't beeping, and there were no receipts on the counter. The employee was making two sandwiches but otherwise appeared to have no queue. As someone who also works in the food industry, I completely understand being stressed or short-staffed, but there was no reason my order couldn't have been taken. The employee (a woman with dark brown hair, roughly late 20s to mid-30s) was extremely unwelcoming and made me feel like an inconvenience. Between the lack of basic supplies and the poor attitude, I have no desire to return to this location.
