This one in particular is clean, the burgers are made exactly how you order and Five Guys standards dictate, and the condiments, beverage machine and milkshake machine are cleaned all day long. In addition, the restrooms, used by men and women, are spotless and shiny. The kitchen looked great and the manager knew the to-go order by name and gave us a short rundown on what needed to happen and how long we’d wait. Until In N Out gets here, this is the best chain in Portland, even with Burgerville here. All fresh meat, real peanut oil on the fries and a stunning list of toppings. If it weren’t for the price, I’d eat here all the time for the grilled mushrooms and onions. I’d live to see an Impossible or myco protein version of one of their staple burgers someday, then it would be worth the price every time.
