- WWWvnxedAug 10, 20251.0My girlfriend and I came in and got money orders for security deposits for our new apartment and unfortunately the complex didn’t let us know it had to be separate and we needed to get the money orders reissued. We came back to do just that they told us their policy they can’t reissue we needed to call western union (fair). So we did just that and figured it out and we got issued a refund for the amount we had minus taking a 15 dollar fee from each (That’s just western unions policy). We then came back and told them about it and showed email proof with verification numbers and claim numbers. The store director said he’s never seen this before but he took it upon himself to call Western Union and figure it all out and they were able to give us some of the money but not all since they only had so much money and we had to come back another day which is understandable. Well we come back today and my girlfriend came up, greeted Theresa nicely, and started off as a nice interaction. But once my girlfriend started to explain that we were here for some more of our refund she cut her off and told her “we don’t do those” and of course because we ran into this issue last time she kindly tried to explain to her that this Albertsons has done it before and we still had receipts from last time and the emails but she didn’t even want to look at them and proceeded to reiterate that they don’t do it, which of course is just a lie. I get it she’s never seen that done before I mean the store director didn’t, but it was the fact that she was being so rude and cutting us off and insinuating that we’re lying. She called over her manager and the manager didn’t even help either but she also didn’t talk much Theresa was just running her mouth and insisting she’s not doing it which that’s just plain lazy. In customer service you’re supposed to figure out these issues and not just blow off the customer ESPECIALLY if they have proof that is HAS and CAN be done. I’ve worked in customer service since I was 17, I’m 24 now and I would NEVER talk to a customer like that and have never before. I’ve also worked at Albertsons for 4 years before so I know their policies and that’s why I know it’s a load of bull. Yes THEY can’t issue refunds, which they didn’t Western Union did. There’s a first for everything and I’ve learnt that many times that doesn’t give you the right to treat customers that way.
