We had already given our daughter her meal, so my husband decided to go back with the receipt to get the missing items. Meanwhile, his fries and nuggets were getting cold at home. When he got to McDonald's (a 15-minute drive), he asked for the burger they had not put in the bag and a fry, since his were sitting at home, getting cold. They told him they would not give him a new fry because he did not bring back the whole food order, even though it was their fault he had to go back for the food they did not put in the bag. He turned around, drove back (a 15-minute drive), and ate cold fries and cold nuggets with his burger. Thanks for a horrible experience, McDonald's. Seems like you could have given us a hot fry to make up for your mistake. Horrible customer service. Not going back there again. You get zero stars.
