Today, they have one entrance closed off for renovations, but they put their checkers ALL on that end… so people have to walk from one end to the other just to get checked out, then back the other way to exit. Why not put your cashiers near the door that’s actually operating? Some days you can come in, get what you need, and get checked out promptly. Other days you’re held up as the cashiers slowly process their customers by having extended conversations or spending time worrying about their “surveys”, to which they often coerce the customer into a 10 (or help themselves and do it on their own). To me - with the prices being as high as they are compared to other grocery options (Walmart is in the parking next door), they should really focus on providing prompt service and ensuring their associates are keeping things moving. And as for the surveys at the checkout? Stop… they’re not accurate… the associates are manipulating it… find a better way.
