However, although the NY steak was a good tender and juicy cut, and the inside was cooked to order, the outside was charred so badly that I could only guess that the cook must have slathered the steak in butter and proceeded to lower it into the fire until it caught fire itself. It was a crunchy burned crusted steak that left a charcoal aftertaste in my mouth. Everything else was terrific. If you order anything other than steak at this steakhouse, you'll probably be happy.
