Stopped at the deli to get some baked chicken as it looked fairly fresh. Dude at the counter was catching up some of his bros for a bit when he suddenly looked at me and said "yay that's an 8 piece chicken" and did his thing. I thought that might be a better deal. When he finished his buddy's order I ordered the same. Thank you. sorry if I pissed you off interrupting. Won't waste my time again. Recieve 2 drum sticks 2 I guess thighs 1 breast and 4 wings. Thank you.

Someone needs to teach the pickup area lady the Golden rule... Treat others as you want to be treated. Kindness goes a long way. I'm giving Safeway 2 Stars for the pickup area where half the people there are extremely rude the other half are really nice but kindness goes a long way with me and I don't like snooty women looking at me with their rude eyes and talking down to me with their snotty tones. Kindness goes a long way and with doordashers you need to be a lot nicer because we're the ones actually delivering the food. I give the meat department five stars because they are very good and the lady that takes care of the meats is so kind and funny. I appreciate their kindness

This store over charges for their crappie food and then charges you for a crappie paper bag that rips open and spills your groceries all over the place. Do yourself a favor and shop anywhere but there. Safeway is a corporate company that doesn't care at all for the community that supports their business, they only care about their share holders. McKays, IGA or first choice is by far a better option.

I am very disappointed with Safeway. Today (2/7) I found two expensive, perishable items (yogurt and meat/cheese pack) that had expiration dates from this past December. Everything is so expensive and now they try to sell really old products? They have some real competition so they should be more careful. I’ll be shopping at the new 1st Choice market or McKays.

As one of the main grocery stores in our small coastal town, we go here plus I like their point system and they’re Safeway deals are usually pretty good. But for being one of the most expensive Safeway‘s in Oregon, you think that they would pay attention to expiration dates as half my groceries lately have been expired or close to expiring. It just doesn’t seem right when you’re paying what you’re paying for there. I shouldn’t have to be so paranoid of expiration dates, like you are at a place like grocery outlet, do better Safeway!
