This safeway sucks so bad for online orders. They charge you, hold your money and then cancel your orders for no apparent reason. I placed an order for delivery the next day, it got canceled so I rescheduled the delivery for the following day. Well it got canceled again with no explanation. Now the money is tied up pending in my account so I can't order from anywhere else.

I only shop at Safeway for produce or meat, and only when those items are on sale. I stopped regularly shopping there after noticing their scanners were frequently overcharging me—usually on sale items.
This week, Safeway had grapes on sale, so I purchased some on two separate occasions. Both times, I had to point out to the cashier that I was being charged the regular price instead of the sale price.
Yesterday, I bought two bags—one for me and one for my mother—and again, I was overcharged. I brought it to the cashier’s attention. She took out her phone, did some calculations, and then told me to reinsert my card. She handed me a receipt, but as I walked away and glanced at it, I saw I was still charged the regular price.
I told her, “This is still wrong.” She replied, “You’ll have to go to customer service.” So I did.
At customer service, the employee also used his phone to calculate the correct price. He had me insert my card and refunded me $5.08. When I got home and calculated what it should have been, I found he was still off by 87 cents.
I’m not concerned about the 87 cents—or even the $5. But I drove out of my way to shop at Safeway because it was supposed to be a good price. To go through all of that and still be overcharged is, frankly, ridiculous.

Always have on Sale. NEVER have in Stock!
Are they forcing Walmart on us folk?
Oops meant this about Forest Groves, this location in Keiser actually had a good inventory and a good variety of different products I've noticed compared to FG's my hometowns Location.

This is my home store/FAVORITE STORE to shop at. I shop here at least 4 times a week. I save alot of money buying my groceries here. The trick is to only buy things when they are on sale in the ad or have a digital coupon.
If you aren't already a Safeway club card member... U should definitely sign up. The rewards program is another plus. Because you get money back on items your gonna buy anyways.
The daytime staff are great. I just try to not go in after 10pm because your gonna be stuck waiting quite awhile due to them only having 1 cashier the last 2 hours they are open and it can get really backed up. They also have different people working the closing shift, not very friendly or helpful. I miss the good ones.
However overall it's still my favorite place to shop☺️
