He took ownership of my experience from the very beginning. I complimented him on his demeanor and he shared that "I am trying to make that a priority when I work." When I asked him what sauce he recommended on my sandwiches, he 'artistically' added just the right things. They were the best Subway's I can remember. I will be in the area much of the next couple months, and will be a regular at that store because of Juan.

He is an overqualified customer service-orientated sandwich maker who up-sold me on his sandwich making skills. I was originally only there to buy my daughter a sandwich; and I’m glad I made the purchase! I’ll save you the details on how I’m a health freak with a strict diet. Just know that I gave him a less than typical order and he went the extra mile to make sure that my sandwich has tensile strength and that the amount of everything i requested was done to my request. I’ve been in the USMC, worked in schools with special needs kids, construction, sales, multiple odd jobs while in college, and I’ve been a cop for 16 yrs while also being a small business owner. Even though it was less common in the Marine Corps and law enforcement, in every one of my past jobs I have come across people who were not mission driven with the underlying goal to contribute to their customer and their organization at the highest level. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH JUAN; He is next level; and I would snatch him up if I was hiring. It was apparent that he truly has the goal to make your day better regardless of how you showed up. And for what it’s worth, I’ve never met him before today. If you see him, tip him well.
