  I ordered food to-go. $9 for skewers - turns out this means 4 tiny little bite size pieces of meat. 1 bite wonders. Complete robbery of your money. There are WAY better food spots then this. Pizza was not cooked long enough - crust was rubbery. Expensive and not worth the price. I showed up 1 min after my order was ready, and the food was luke warm at best.

  I visited Salam with a work associate a couple months ago. We were warmly welcomed and greeted promptly. We ordered ordered the vegetarian mezza platter and some kafta kabob skewers. Everything was absolutely amazing and perfectly cooked. I will definitely be back and enjoyed every bite.

  A Hidden gem of a restaurant in Orenco.. Best tasting Lebanese/Persian food in all of Portland and the suburbs. The fresh made bread straight out of the oven is just perfection ! This is free and every table gets one to start off your dining! The cocktails and pretty much all the Beverages are too good especially the Karak Chai.

  I have a friend who raves about Salam, so I tried it tonight. I walked in and the first thing I saw was fresh bread being fired in the oven. Salam has a peaceful atmosphere, the service is kind, and the food! So good! I had a Veggie Mezza with the fresh bread, hummus, falafel, whipped feta, and another delicious dip. Will return! Thank you for my lovely meal.

  This restaurant will surprise you. The fresh made flat bread brought out to your table is a reason by itself to go eat there. In my life I’ve traveled a lot, trying falafel everywhere I went. Salam Restaurant has the freshest most delicious falafel I’ve ever had. Make sure to try to rose water lemonade, wow! My favorite thing on the menu is the Whipped Feta. Trust me you’ll LOVE it.
