The bald guy at self checkout will sit there and have a full blown conversation with another employee rather than assisting the customers when they need him. Worst set up ever, constantly have to go ACROSS the entire store to get a single item. Why would you put laundry detergent and what not in the middle of all of the food and drink aisles? Multiple SHOOTINGS have happened here and someone even died in front of the store. If you have another shopping option, I would go there.

The package says ‘sell through Feb 1’. Really disappointed. Had to send my husband to Fred Meyer to find (hopefully) fresh meat (they’re usually no better). We go out of our way to shop at Safeway considering we live less than a quarter mile from Freddy’s. This isn’t the only factor contributing to my frustrations with Safeway, either, but I will just leave it at this. Perhaps Winco would be a better choice overall. I’ll have to check them out again.
