Prices at this place have gotten out of hand. $6 for a cider i can get down the road at the convenience store for $4. $25 ready to eat rib eye that I can have served to me at a restaurant for the same price. (Ribeye was actually ringing up as $32 despite the tag saying $25) Those are just 2 examples. Who came up with these prices and who do they think they are? You're Safeway. Not Zupans. Thank God we finally got a Trader Joe's in the neighborhood. And there's always grocery outlet too. No more Safeway for me. Complete and total rip off.

Was very confused looking for medicine. Not every one knows it’s labeled as seasonal. Would be best for someone that isn’t feeling well to have a straightforward sign so they can get in and get out quickly.

The staff is very pleasant. The location is good for us. That is why we have been shopping here. However we will not shop here anymore. They advertise good deals. Then don’t have the product. First is was the Turkeys at 39 cents a pound. Then next week it was spiral ham at 99 cents a pound. They didn’t have those either. This weeks ad has prime rib at 6.99. They cannot say they ran out. Because this is because this is Wednesday first day of the ad. I completely understand that occasionally that a store can run out of product. But this is happening ALL the time now In order to create customer loyalty in the past, they would say they are sorry and issue A “Rain Check”. But they won’t do that because they now use the Fine Print “while supply’s last”. I spoke to the butcher today. He said they never got any in. So there was never any supply “to last” This is intentional. So here is what they have to do to get me shopping here again. I want a rain check for the 39 turkeys and for the 6.99 prime rib roast. This is the type of corporate behavior that creates class action lawsuits. Any lawyers out there reading this?

To shop here feels like its being assumed that you are shop lifting and thus are put through various gates and systems in order to ensure you are in fact purchasing your groceries. I understand that people are shop lifting, but I also understand that the CEO makes $1.5 million base salary and significant stock awards, making his pay 475 times the median employee's salary. If people need food so desperately that they have to steal, there are a ton of CEO’s out there that could easily come up off some of their pay and make up the difference without experiencing any financial hardship at all.
