  Got here to get 2 energy drinks, it was 9:44 and there was 5 cars ahead of us, got to the window 9:58 and was told they cant make any drinks cuz they already closed, like it was that hard to pour to drinks into a cup

  I’ve been coming to this Dutch Bros location for years, and aside from the occasional drink needing to be remade, I’ve generally had positive experiences. However, my visit yesterday was disappointing due to both the interaction and overall service. I stopped in with my sister, and we planned to place separate orders. I typically like to mention that upfront, but I didn’t get the chance because of how the initial interaction unfolded. When we pulled up, I was briefly double-checking my sister’s order and missed when the employee asked, “How are you?” As soon as I realized, I turned back and greeted him with a polite “Hi.” His response was, “Alright! That’s great!! What can I get started for you!” delivered in a tone that felt sarcastic and noticeably irritated. The reaction felt disproportionate to the situation and immediately made the interaction uncomfortable. I attempted to apologize, but he did not acknowledge it and instead looked at me with an impatient expression. As he took my order, his behavior continued to feel rushed and dismissive. He repeatedly tapped the iPad aggressively while entering the order, which made it seem as though each detail was an inconvenience. After I finished ordering and paid, I realized we still needed to place my sister’s order separately. As the employee began to walk away, I had to call out to add the second drink and apologized again for the confusion. When I reached the window, my drink was handed to me unmixed. I ordered an iced Rebel with two flavors and sweet cream, but everything had settled at the bottom. While this may seem minor, it is frustrating when paying around $8 for a drink. Additionally, while we were waiting for the second drink, the employee at the window turned to speak with coworkers about workplace frustrations. The conversation included discussing a coworker who was quitting and plans to “tell off” a manager on their last day. This conversation took place directly in front of customers, which felt unprofessional. Overall, the experience felt very unfortunate and stuck with me until the next day. I’m not someone who’s ever wrote a review but this deserves to be discussed.
