I have never liked this Safeway. The vibe has always been off to me, other than the instinct feel I don't like how cramped it is. There's no room in the aisles. There's no room to get in line at checkout. Even in produce area I feel like I am running into something or someone just trying to turn a corner. I don't like that in a grocery store or any store. Plus its always so damn hot in there. I just get an ick feeling there. They need to remodel it. Make it brighter and more lively. Get new shelving with more room to move around.
