I started eating it and then noticed something chewy and weird, I pulled the object out of my mouth and it was a paper patty separator, a whole piece in my burger and unfortunately I ate some of it before I noticed. I am not sure how they grilled my burger, assembled it with tomatoes, lettuce, sauce and then wrapped it up for me without noticing that there was a piece of paper inside. Is it to much to ask that we expect to be able to eat our food from restaurants and not have inedible material inside? I usually trust the places I that I go to eat and I do not take the food apart to make sure its safe, I guess I cant trust this place anymore, although after eating paper at this location I will not be returning. I called McDonalds and of course the guy I talked to was buttering me up and swearing up and down that this situation would be escalated and someone would call me. Can you guess what happened? Yep, you got it, no one called me back and its been 10 days later. Typical of most customer service these days, they tell you someone will help you and then they never call back. Its because these big corporations don't give a damn, they gladly take your money but when there is an issue, getting a resolution is an arduous, time consuming, anxiety inducing and nearly impossible process. Attached is a picture, btw the paper was inside the burger and none of it was sticking out, the burger was not wrapped in paper just to be clear this was inside and I had no way of knowing unless I took it apart before eating.
