Struggling a bit more with PTSD lately and dealing with a nightmare of a social situation (home was destroyed), and as an ER Nurse… a pretty stressful job. I’ve spent my adult life in service to others. Hiding my stress in order to help and or save other humans. If you know an ER Nurse or Doc, you’d know it’s a strange addiction. On November 7th on my way into a busy shift… I found myself in a bit of a jam. Not necessarily an emergency, but I was visibly distressed and a bit lost. Megan, went out of her way to help me out. Her random act of kindness left me stunned and speechless. She fixed my day, and helped show me a little bit of light through a lot of darkness. I went to work and saved at least 2 or 3 other humans that day. Megan, thanks for saving me on this day.
