I know everyone has bad days and that we are all different. However, upon entry the individual working the register had an attitude-with everyone. They were consistently rolling their eyes, stating hard, and sighing. Most of these I overlooked because we are not perfect. But it became an issue for me when it started making even the coworkers seem anxious. The person was irritated at an adolescent for accidentally knocking over the inconveniently placed, “caution when wet sign”. He even apologized and she rolled her eyes. Repeat when three others accidentally knocked it over too. She eventually huffed loudly and said “I GUESS I’ll move this”.
Onto me. I ordered a 2 for $5, plain hot dog and regular fries- my toddler likes this and we had a good day today, so when she requested the hot dog I went to DQ cause she loves them here. I understand that some locations split their hot dog down the middle but I did not know this. I tried to get her to eat it but she wouldn’t (if you have kids, you understand) and my child wouldn’t eat it. I went back into the restaurant and got in line to wait my turn. The lady at the counter sees me, stops helping the customer in front of me and loudly demands, “is there a problem”?! So I ask her if there’s any way I could get my hotdog remade without the split. She said, “why”. I said, “well I can tell it’s overcooked in some spots, kinda hard and there’s chunks of hamburger in it too. I just would like a hot dog” She said, “well we make it this way. Chunks of other food is something you’ll have to deal with since we use a grill. So you can wait until all orders ahead of you have been filled and just get it the exact same way or you get a refund”. I told her, “can you just cook it without cutting it? It’s for my toddler otherwise I’d eat it” and she said “well just make your kid eat it. Cause we aren’t changing the way we make it you can just get a refund” so I accepted the refund and left.
I understand having a bad day, but the level of attitude this customer had was more than this. She seemed to be taking out her frustrations on the customers.
Even if this is a private owned DQ, it gives the other DQs a bad reputation.
The fries were okay.
The lady at the front counter and the lady that brought us our food they were both super rude and both don’t have manners to see their life

This is the last good Dairy Queen in Clatsop County. Don't go to Warrenton or Astoria; they'll make ya sick. Gearhart DQ has always been solid, and they actually cook their food. Without the Gearhart location, you'd have to go all the way to Manning DQ (also just as good as Gearhart). PLEASE STICK AROUND IN GEARHART. 🤣

Came in to grab dinner with the family before heading home. Walking in, there were three ladies. No greetings, no smiles. While ordering, she just kept saying 'Anything else?' She looked miserable.
I asked to use the restroom, but the restroom was so gross that I couldn't go.
We wanted to order blizzards to go and they were in such a mood that we just left.
